I just love the characters, and the plot, the beautiful artwork, and ... well, everything about it! They are the inspiration for most of my anime drawings/splatter painting things.

I actually do not get these asked very often at all, mostly, but it might be helpful? It might soothe my guilt a bit about not replying so often

What tools do you use for your art?
- Drawings: HB pencil (regular mechanical pencil that is like, 50 cents), markers for drawing, and then ink. (I use my watercolor brushes for this).
- Paintings: Whatever watercolors I can get my hands on, and paintbrushes. The thing is, I actually hardly have any art supplies of my own; they are all borrowed from my school so I don't know the specific brands.

How long have you been drawing/painting for?
- I started painting in watercolor in around November 2012. And have been trying to improve since. I have been drawing since I was little, because I was jealous of all the great artists at my school. I don't think I have any real art talent, just practice a lot.

Do you take commissions/request/art-trades ?
- In general, no.
- Request: I am so sorry, but I do not have time. I'm a very slow-working person.
- For commissions, I do not believe my work is up to a standard that I am comfortable with. I am too afraid them out of fear of people not being satisfied with what I come out with. I apologize sincerely. I sometimes to little gift drawings for my friends, but that is the closest you may get.
Maybe in the future ...?
But I feel honored that anyone has even asked this. That you even consider commissioning me or requesting a trade makes me very happy.
- As for art trades ... I might be a little more flexible.

- Watercolor for paintings, and ink/marker for drawings.

- I'm soooo sorry here ... I try to reply as often as I can, but I'm a sometimes busy person and I get too many replies to keep up with. But know that I read every single comment, and I appreciate them all.

Okay, so I'll be going away again for a week, this is for a school trip. But I hope it will be fun! Wish me luck!

When I get back, I hope to get a FAQ thing together. Keep on asking me questions, you gave so many good ones! I left some unanswered, but I read them, and I'll copy-paste them into the FAQ and answer them there, when I get around to it ...

So here is a series of WIP pictures of my Ronald Knox drawing ... I don't usually do them ~~because I forget~~ but I wanted to try it, because I want to abuse my ability to put random pictures in a journal with a premium. Tell me if this is interesting, and if you are interested in seeing more WIP posts like this in the future! (I don't like posting them as deviations or even as scraps for some reason).

Note: This isn't really meant to be a tutorial or anything, just a random series of pictures. I work very unprofessionally and my workspace is kind of cluttered and crowded.

Sketch of the face first; I worked outwards from the face to the hair. (Sorry, this was made at night so the lighting is weird.) Sorry, I don't have a picture of the sketch itself, I forgot. But I try to make my sketches kind of detailed, so I don't get lost when I ink them. I take longer on the sketches than the inking sometimes. ~~But I couldn't figure out how Ronald's hair was supposed to look ajfkdf so I just was like, I'll get to it when I get to it.~~

Sketching the hair~ I was avoiding doing the top of his head for as long as possible. He looks weird without glasses.

I'm using "Pilot Marqueur A Dessin" markers. (just reading what it says on my marker) Adding Ronald's glasses:

Splatter paint all over the place! And quickly adding some birds ... This was the next day.

I wasn't able to take a picture of me in the process of splattering ink, because I do it kind of quickly. The ink dries fast, and it's nice to be able to smudge it all over the place. I have an ink bottle (top corner, the black thing).

With this, I took a picture with my camera and then adjusted the lighting/contrast/etc with iPhoto.
